One of the highest theme parks in the world is slated to open in Genting Highlands in the second quarter of 2021
Located 1,845m above sea level, the Genting SkyWorlds (formerly Fox World Malaysia) is set to be one of the most exciting, if not the most, theme parks in the region. The press release revealed that the theme park will feature attractions inspired by popular 20th Century Studios’ movies such as Ice Age, Night at the Museum, Planet of the Apes and Rio, promising an immersive experience straight out of a movie scene. Other adventure-inspired ‘worlds’ include Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Liberty Lane, Robots Rivet Town and Andromeda Base.

Genting SkyWorlds is the result of many years of hard work by our dedicated team members and our partners from all over the world. We are almost ready. We are putting the finishing touches to this amazing theme park, which we believe to be Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park.
Spanning over 26 acres, it has been reported that the park will feature a total of 26 thrilling world-class rides and attractions, including one or more world premieres. For instance, the Eagle Mountain will host a Mad Ramp peak ride, which is the world’s first dual-powered rollercoaster with a unique high-speed motorcycle race.
Slated to open in Q2 2021, the park will also feature original IPs apart from the 20th Century Studios’ attractions. More details will be revealed closer to its opening, so watch this space.
